Hey, I’m over at StencilGirl Talk today showing you how I recycled a crayon box and using Carolyn Dube’s Venetian stencil.

But, wait.. leave a comment here to win one of these cards.  I will be choosing two winners next Tuesday.

  1. These came out great! I love how you scraped some of the black paint away to add some extra details. You are SO creative!!!

  2. Love these Judy. the dark buildings and bright surrounds really make them sing…..xox

  3. This is so cool! I just received my order of Portfolio Oil Pastels this morning and as I figured out how the box opened, I had the same reaction: Do I really want to open these boxes every time I want to find a color? No. I put them in a little art bin and still have the cardboard. I think I’ll try your technique and recycle the box. Yours turned out so awesome!

  4. I have an empty crayon box and if I can’t win the awesome one that you made, you can make me another one. lol lol 😉 😉 😉 Is it asking too much!?!?!?!?!?!? lol

  5. Love how you scraped away part of the crayon coloring & used paint. The yellow paint in the windows POPS. Neat ways to use a stencil.

  6. I thank you, dear Judy, for sharing all the juicy details on how you did these – they turned out great! If I win one of these lovelies, it will go in a frame and have a place of honor on our family art wall. We are StencilGirl sisters, after all…lol.

Let me know what you think about this post.
